About this book deutschenglish
The „Deep Web“ (sometimes called also „Invisible Web“ or „Hidden Web“) is the hidden part of the Internet. It can offer high quality information relevant to every user; just a minimal part is revealed via general search engines (for example Google, Yahoo or WLS (MSN)). The "Deep Web“ constitutes the major part of databases; the opposite of the „Deep Web“ is the „Surface Web“, which stands for the part of the Internet covered by general search engines.
This book describes possible ways of creating „crosswalks“ between the „Deep Web“ and the „Surface Web“. A classification of search tools which are able to deliver results from the „Deep Web“, accompanied by practical examples of the in-use solutions, was presented in this book.
