About this book deutschenglish
The history of cultural studies is the phenomenon of philosophers and thinkers in the field of cultural studies who, through their work and activity, succeeded in laying the foundations for future generations. These include Socrates, C.G. Jung, Hannah Arendt, Getrude, Christine de Pizan and many other courageous women and men.
These cultural creators were often far ahead of their time and era, and often devoted their entire lives to this topic. Every development in the intellectual field is thanks to their fearless work. Often overlooked during their lifetime, their writing and presentations nevertheless had a considerable subliminal influence on each era and its forms. This demarcation and distance from the prevailing zeitgeist on the one hand, and their proximity to prevailing contemporary history, politics and culture on the other, shape the explosive nature of these works.
It is from this tension and confrontation that the epoch-making philosophers Socrates, C.G. Jung, Hannah Arendt and Christine de Pizan created their works, which brought about great change in culture. C.G. Jung is the founder of depth psychology, Socrates is a symbolic figure of political resistance, Christine de Pizan is an influential writer of the Middle Ages and Hannah Arendt is also a great author and journalist who continues to shape the self-image of the modern philosopher to this day. The work and influence of these philosophers and cultural figures still has a strong symbolic power today.
This small volume is a collection of lectures on these personalities, the wording of which is a reproduction of lectures that were given on these personalities at adult education centers and universities. It is just a small excerpt from the endless chain of great philosophers and cultural figures.
In particular, the intrepid female artists at the beginning of the 20th century and the Weimar Classics offer sufficiently impressive material for the presentation of further publications, whose work captivates with a certain mixture of naturalness and originality, which stand in complete contrast to today's women's movement (which is meant purely objectively without any reproach).
The phenomenon of the spirit has stimulated and excited people's minds at all times and is more than worthy of further explanation.
