The German nursing care insurance is characterised by a large number of statutory contractual relationships. The thesis analyses these complex contractual relationships between the service providers and the nursing care insurance funds. Due to the competitive structure of the German nursing care insurance law (SGB XI) the relevance of public procurement law and anti-trust law is also examined within the framework of this thesis. Moreover a comparison of law is made with the health insurance law, which was role model for the creation of the nursing care insurance law.
